Dr Alistair Furze, after completing his A-levels at Hurstpierpoint College in Sussex, read Chemistry for four years at Lincoln College, Oxford, before moving to Liverpool University in 2001 where he undertook research in the field of Tissue Engineering, achieving an MPhil and PhD from the University of Manchester through a unique twinning programme between the two Universities. He was awarded his Qualified Teacher Status from Chester University and went on to teach Chemistry at Downe House School, a prestigious girls boarding school in the heart of Berkshire.

Moving to Malaysia in 2009, he first worked at Kolej Tuanku Ja'afar (KTJ), where he taught both Physics and Chemistry, before moving to Kolej Yayasan UEM (KYUEM) which he is joining us from.
